Beach Panwa

Panwa Beach is quiet, lot of luxury villas in neighborhood. it is worth to visit on the way to Aquarium. The Thai name of Panwa beach is Khao Kad Beach. The seabed is covered with dead coral, so it is not a great beach for swimming.

Cape Panwa has seen many celebrities. In 1999, during the production of the film ‘The Beach’ on the nearby island of Koh Phi Phi, Leonardo Di Caprio stayed at Cape Panwa Hotel, film actress Elizabeth Taylor was here in 1989, singer Brian Adams took a beak here in 1993 from his monumental tour of East and South East Asia.
