Beach Ya Nui

Yanui beach is truly a picture perfect beach. Great for relaxing. Golden sand and emerald blue water. Good place for snorkelling as there are some modest corals very close to the beach and there is almost no current. Kayaks can be rented cheaply in case you want to row over to the next tiny island or watch some fish a little further from the beach. Along the roadside there are some small restaurants with fair prices.

Interesting fun fact about grouper fish you can see swimming around corals. You know grouper very well from your plate at the restaurant. All groupers are born female and they can change sex when adult. They live in small groups with one male and a harem of about 15 females. If the male dies, one of the females turn into a male and takes over the harem. They can live up to 50 years.
