Kathu waterfall parking

Kathu waterfall is quite lovely during the rainy season as water cascades down four levels through the green jungle. In some of the pools you can swim. The entrance to Kathu Waterfalls is free.

It has a series of drop pools leading all the way up to the main pool which is at an elevation. There is a stairway leading up with 423 steps. From the top of the stairway you can follow a dirt track to the highest level. Luckily the stairs are under the shade of trees. The best time to visit Kathu waterfall is from June until November when it is rainy season in Phuket. After the dry season you can expect the waterfalls in Phuket to have little water.
