Soi Romanee

Soi Romanee is probably the most picturesque part of old Sino-Portuguese part of Phuket town from the glorious and wealthy times of tin mining business. Once home to brothels and gambling and opium dens, it now hosts boutique cafes and guesthouses, and is a favourite photo spot. One of the most singular aspects of Soi Romanee is that it has no ugly overhead power cables that afflict the rest of downtown Phuket.
