Wat Choeng Thale

Wat Choeng Thale Temple is set in large grounds and is made up of a number of buildings. It has a Chedi, that houses a bone relic of Lord Buddah, which was brought from Sri Lanka. In the middle of the Temple is the Ordination Hall, that has interesting, painted murals on its walls. Local people often come here to make offerings and to be blessed by monks, who tied thin string around their waist, to protect them from injury and sickness.
